GEA FlatPlate Introduces the 5 Ton Baby

(York, PA) -- GEA FlatPlate introduces their newest brazed plate heat exchanger, the 5 Ton Chiller. This "baby" is a compact alternative for the larger shell and tube type heat exchangers, and is the smallest compact chiller available. The 5 Ton Chiller's progressive design is only 20 pounds, and at 5" x 12" x 5.4", it offers more efficiency in a fraction of the space.

It is copper brazed stainless steel construction with a high performance heat transfer surface. The 5 Ton Chiller, with a rating of 450 PSIG, is designed specifically for refrigerant based applications, and has a low internal volume requiring less refrigerant charge. Other important features include a top sealing plate to prevent frost damage, and Easy Sweat fittings for easier and faster installation.

GEA FlatPlate's "Baby" 5 Ton Chiller is ideally suited for use in commercial, industrial process, or residential applications. It can handle a wide range of fluids and can be computer selected for specific application conditions. The 5 Ton Chiller is UL Listed and GEA FlatPlate provides application assistance.
