2-Circuit Chiller Saves Money and Space

(York, PA) - GEA FlatPlate, Inc.'s Two-Circuit Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger (Chiller) provides two refrigerant circuits and one fluid circuit, like that typically found in a two-compressor fluid chiller. The Two-Circuit has full fluid cooling even when one refrigerant circuit is off or at partial load condition. The patented GEA FlatPlate design offers savings through less piping, reduced refrigerant charge and lower installation cost, plus the compact size requires less space than conventional shell and tube units. Construction of the heat exchanger consists of 316L stainless steel plates and this model has a capacity range from 3 to 140 tons. GEA FlatPlate carries a complete line of brazed plate heat exchangers for refrigeration, hydronic and process applications.
